Russell Bralsford is an expert in the fields of domestic and industrial plumbing and heating systems. With over 50 years of experience in domestic and commercial environments Russell Bralsford has been engaged by leading law firms, legal practices and insurance companies, to give evidence and opine in cases involving, poor working practices, personal injury and property damage, and the design and efficiency of plumbing and heating systems.

Russell Bralsford now has an extensive case record acting as a single joint expert in many cases and also equally in other litigation cases for claimant and defense parties. Notable cases include representing a private client against a leading national utility company in relation to the poor installation of a domestic central heating installation. Also, for York University in relation to the wrongful design and installation of waste-water drains by a national construction company during the development of a new University campus.

Trading Standards
We all like a bargain, and we have all been ‘sucked in’ by a good sales pitch, and unfortunately we all know the sayings “you get what you pay for” and “you can’t get more out than you put in”. Every locality in the UK has a Department of Trading Standard’s who function is to oversee that fair trade is carried out within their jurisdiction. Now, when ‘fair trade’ is not seen to be the case, Trading Standards can, and do prosecute individuals and companies for carrying out unfair practices.

Bralsford Expert Witness have significant experience of compiling expert reports for Trading Standard Departments so that those alleged to be guilty of unfair trading practices, can be prosecuted.
