Experience

Since 1981 I have acted for clients in several hundred claims under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.

I have acted as an expert witness in many cases heard by the First Tier Tribunal (previously the LVT) and The Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) including:

  • Claims under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967
  • Claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
  • Claims relating to professional negligence
  • Criminal cases of mortgage fraud

I also have extensive experience in providing valuations for balance sheet purposes, matrimonial issues and various taxes including ATED, CGT and IHT.
