Kris graduated Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Real Estate Management in 2010 and started working at a local firm in Folkestone within the Property Management department undertaking block management in both Residential and Commercial. Kris undertook the Assessment of Professional Competence with the RICS and qualified in 2013 to become MRICS.
From 2013, Kris was part of a Commercial Agency and Management team primarily involved in sales and lettings within the South East Kent area and managing a portfolio consisting of offices, retail and industrial properties in the Folkestone area. Kris also began to specialise in Leasehold Enfranchisement.
In 2017, Kris moved to Motis Ireland, one of the largest shipping companies in Europe and became Development Manager of the Former Eurotunnel Exhibition Building in Folkestone and oversaw the development of the site into a 30,000 sq ft serviced office building. Kris was involved in the purchase of H Wald and Co, a local Chartered Surveyors in 2017 and became Director of the newly formed Motis Estates in 2018.
Kris then furthered his career and qualified as a RICS Registered Valuer in 2019 to be able to undertake surveys on all types of properties now specialising in residential valuations throughout Kent, Sussex and SE London. He has a vast amount of experience in carrying out surveys, most notably for Homes England but for both individual clients and large companies. Kris is also competent in undertaking “expert witness” surveys and can comply with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure rules and Part 25 of the Family Procedure Rules.
Kris has a good understanding of the principles and philosophy required to be a Chartered Surveyor and ensures that his valuations are always in accordance with the RICS Rules of Conduct. He is constantly expanding his skills and knowledge within Valuation and Estate Agency and regularly attends seminars and training courses.
