Dr. Julie Cox

Dr Julie Cox is a Consultant Clinical Radiologist based in the North of England and remains in current NHS practice. She qualified in Medicine in 1993 and was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist in 2002. Her areas of expertise include breast radiology and general diagnostic radiology including trauma imaging.

She has undertaken medico-legal work since 2013, including cases involving alleged delay in cancer diagnosis, particularly breast and lung cancer. She writes approximately 15 medico-legal reports per year and has appeared in Court as an expert witness. She holds Bond Solon expert witness certificates in English (Cardiff University) and Scottish law ( Aberdeen University). She is a Tier 1 APIL expert.
