Dr Sikandar Kamlana is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 35 years experience of working with adult patients in the NHS and in the private sector. He currently works as a Medical Director for a number of private hospitals in Billingham and Hull.

Dr Kamlana has been appointed as a specialist for the Independent Medical Appeal board, he is a panel member for Medical and Professional Services Limited (MAPS) for medical legal reports, a member of BUPA Expert Panel Witness Management Services, Medreport, Pemex, IMR (Insurance Medical Reporting) and a medical member of the Panel of Examiners for the National Medical Examination Network for War Pensions.

He provides medical assessments for early retirement on medical grounds as well as medical assessments for immigrants needing to stay in the UK for treatment purposes for their medical conditions.

Dr Kamlana regularly prepares psychiatric reports for leading firms of solicitors throughout the UK. After the assessment, he would normally expect to have completed his report within 21 days.
