Scott is an experienced quantity surveyor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
Scott has been appointed more than a dozen times as an independent quantum expert in arbitral and Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB) proceedings. He has been cross-examined as an expert witness on multiple occasions. He has also provided expert witness support as a lead assistant and has worked alongside and assisted solicitors and barristers, providing claims advice, commercial and contract management, and dispute resolution services.
Scott’s wide-ranging global sector experience includes power and industrial,buildings, transportation, infrastructure, andnatural resources projects.
Scott was recommended as a Global Leader in Lexology Index’s (formerly Who's Who Legal) Construction - Expert Witnesses in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and a Recommended Expert in Lexology Index’s Consulting Experts – Construction – Delay, Quantum & Technical research.
