Ms. Diane Wills

I am the Owner and Director of Diane Wills Therapist, Consultant & Coach Ltd., providing a range of related services. I provide therapeutic and risk management work to people convicted of serious sexual offences on behalf of HMPPS/MoJ within the prison estate; educational and therapeutic work with private clients; risk assessments for various agencies regarding the potential for sexual or violent harm; assessments and protective work with non-abusing partners . I provide professional supervision to forensic psychologists and other relevant staff in various organisations and offer consultancy and training. I am the lead consultant for forensic risk assessments for Willis Palmer agency. I offer training/workshops/consultancy and individual therapeutic coaching for effectively preventing and managing sexual harassment / sexism in the workplace.

I have been a Practice Educator for Plymouth University and the Open University, working with BA and MA social work students and have had an Associate Lecturer role in social work and criminology.

I am an experienced therapist with the Healthy Sexual Programme run by HMPPS and am trained in the NOTA Individual Treatment Programme. I am trained to administer the HCR-20, the RSVP and the DASH risk assessment tools. Additionally I am a trainer for the Risk & Desistance Hexagon tool.

I am a Psychotherapist with a diploma in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Tavistock Clinic and Level 5 CPCAB training in private practice. I am trained in taking therapy outdoors and work with individuals and teams to explore personal and professional issues in the outdoors.

I am a former Trustee for Circles South West.
I am a member of the Justice branch of the Trauma Informed Network, Plymouth.

Registered Social Worker with Social Work England with current DBS certificate; Member of the National Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers 9NOTA0; Affiliate member of the British Psychological Society; Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
