Mr Ammar H Alanbuki MBChB MSc FRCS (Urol) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in urinary upper tract oncology, stone disease, minimally invasive and robotic prostate surgery, and andrology.

He has extensive clinical and academic experience, having trained and practised in major UK teaching hospitals since 2003, and has been a substantive consultant since 2016. He serves as Robotic Lead and MDT Lead for kidney, bladder, prostate and testicular cancers, with active involvement in complex surgical case management, multidisciplinary review, and service development.

Mr Alanbuki holds a Master’s degree in Cancer Care and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to international research collaborations, and presented at national and international conferences. His teaching and supervisory experience includes serving as a module leader at Brighton & Sussex Medical School and educational supervisor for postgraduate trainees.

As an Expert Witness, Mr Alanbuki accepts instructions from claimant and defendant solicitors, the NHS Resolution, and private legal representatives. His medico-legal expertise covers:

  • General and specialist urological conditions (oncology, stone disease, and andrology)

  • Robotic and laparoscopic surgery (kidney and prostate)
