Mr Mark Cooke

Mark Cooke is a qualified professional with 44 years' experience in commercial aircraft and engine maintenance, airworthiness, and asset management. Mark is currently providing advisory services to the commercial aviation industry, along with expert witness and advice services at the company he founded, 29 Aero Ltd.

Prior to this he was a founder, partner and EVP Asset Management at the Aircamo Group, consisting of Aircamo Aviation Limited, and Aircamo Engines Limited. Aircamo Aviation provides Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) services to airlines and lessors worldwide for several types of commercial aircraft. Aircamo is approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, European Aviation Safety Agency, Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Bermuda. Aircamo Engines Limited is a provider of off-wing maintenance and storage services for commercial aircraft engines. Aircamo Engines is approved by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, European Aviation Safety Authority, and the US Federal Aviation Administration.

From 1980 he spent ten years as an Airframe Technician in the Royal Air Force. His role involved the maintenance and rectification of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

In 1990 he moved to FLS Aerospace in Manchester. He spent time as an Inspector Supervisor – CAA Licensed Engineer. Responsibilities included scheduled, non-scheduled maintenance and inspections of commercial aircraft and engines. He became Aircraft Overhaul Manager whereby he was responsible for commercial aircraft maintenance activities. 

Prior to his role at Aircamo Aviation Limited he was the Owner and Technical Director at 29 Aero Limited, providing services to several major commercial aircraft leasing and asset management companies.
