Richard began his work in the surveying industry in 1985 in the residential sector, supporting the surveying operation across London and the Southeast. This included Building Surveys and Homebuyers Surveyors and private client work. He moved into Commercial and Lettings sectors throughout his APC and the 1990s.
Richard’s experience before joining AWH afforded him a firm grasp of the Prime Central London market, including development sites, refurbishment opportunities, blocks of flats, HMOs, Local Authority property and Housing Association sites.
Since joining AWH in 2019 his expertise has diversified and grown to include a wide variety of mixed use, residential and commercial property, development appraisals, owner-occupier and investment cases and an increasing role in the provision of reports for expert witness purposes. His geographical coverage and knowledge now includes the South of England (including the Isle of Wight) and South East.
