Dr Sarah M E Cockbill is a pharmacist with wide experience of academic, hospital, community, veterinary and agricultural areas of the profession.
Dr Cockbill has expertise in the formulation, administration, dosage & pharmacology of both veterinary and human medicines. Competent in most aspects of the chemistry formulation, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions and appropriate dosage for common forms of medication.
Her experience as pharmacist member on the veterinary products committee provides experience of the data mandated before applications from manufacturers to license new products could be considered.
Dr Cockbill has considerable experience in the preparation of medico-legal reports related to civil, criminal and professional disciplinary matters. She has been instructed to act as an Expert Witness by numerous Solicitors and Barristers requiring her pharmaceutical, pharmacological, formulation and medicinal expertise on several occasions since 2012 and she has written many relevant medico-legal reports during that time.
Report categories include issues related to the formulation, administration, dosage & pharmacology of both veterinary and human medicines.
She has presented papers at many national and international conferences.
Attended the Bond Solon 7 hour CPD/CME Expert Witness Conferences on 8th November 2019, 6th November 2020, and 5th November 2021, two Expert Witness training courses also run by Bond Solon during September 2020 and an online criminal negligence training conference arranged by the Legal Training Consultancy on 25th February 202, attended the Bond Solon CPD/CME course on 04.11.2022
