Mr Scott Frame is currently the principal orthotist at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, South Wales. He is HCPC registered and a full member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists. Scott sits on the Orthotic Service Mangers Group for Wales, where he is actively involved in the development of standards, pathways and guidelines for orthotic practice across Wales. He has over 17 years orthotic clinical experience.

His clinical experience and expertise are in the orthotic management of orthopaedic, neurological, paediatric and diabetic conditions. Scott has a special interest in the orthotic management of complex orthopaedic foot and ankle injuries and neurological injury/disorders.

In his work as an NHS Orthotist he represents his Health Board at the Welsh Orthotic Services Managers Group where he is involved in the development and publishing of standards, pathways and guidelines for orthotic practice in Wales.

Scott Frame been undertaking expert witness work, covering both clinical negligence and personal injury cases in the field of Orthotics, since 2013. He has completed Bond Solon expert witness training and is instructed by claimants and defendants in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Neurological conditions including acquired brain injuries (including stroke and cerebral palsy), spinal cord and peripheral nerve trauma
Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries
Paediatric conditions
Diabetic foot

Injuries caused by falls
Motor accidents
Traumatic brain and acquired neurological injury
Lower limb orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injury; including crush injuries, leg length discrepancies and acquired foot biomechanical issues
Upper limb neurological injury; including brachial plexus injury and contracture management
Paediatric injury cases
