Expert Profile - Consultant Community Paediatrician with over 30 years clinical experience and over 20 years in safeguarding children. Provides independent expert opinion in Family and Criminal Courts in accordance with Part 25 FPR and Part 19 CrimPR.
Areas of Expertise - Non-accidental injury, neglect, fabricated / induced illness, safeguarding, medical causation, forensic paediatrics.
Expert witness practice - Single Joint Expert, Local Authority, Respondent, Prosecution and Defence instructions. Report preparation, conferences and court attendance.
Availablility - 8 - 10 weeks turnaround depending on complexity. Urgent work by agreement. Early instruction advised in complex cases to ensure court timelines can be met.
