Mr. Ahid Abood

Mr Ahid Abood continues to accept medico-legal instructions which are face to face or virtual where appropriate.

Mr Ahid Abood is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and has been the clinical lead for Major Trauma Reconstruction at Addenbrookes hospital, Cambridge for over ten years.

Mr Abood has been a substantive NHS Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 2013. He has a special interest in complex reconstruction following trauma and cancer.

His subspecialty areas of expertise include:
- Complex Limb reconstruction
- Amputations.
- Scars.
- Major Trauma.
- Bone Infection.

Alongside his clinical commitments he is also been the divisional lead for audit and governance, helping to oversee the delivery of high quality and safe care to patients.

He completed his medical training at Cambridge University and Imperial College, London. He has trained extensively both in the UK and internationally, including a number of prestigious fellowships.

He is widely published and involved in teaching, research & education.

Mr Abood offers consultations in Cambridge and central London.
