Ian joined Scott White and Hookins in 2004 and became a Director in 2016. Ian is a chartered structural and civil engineer with partnership responsibility for our Training. He shares his time between the Winchester and London offices working primarily on retail, education and health projects.
Ian has experience of working as site engineer a number of various sized projects including, feasibility studies, load assessments and structural reports and advice as well as fully design schemes for both new build and refurbishment. This involves work on a wide variety of structures from Victorian buildings and fire escape staircase through to modern frame construction. Liaising with clients on structural engineering matters, the checking and production of drawings. Also responsible for preparation of tender documentation for a new builds, demolition, flood risk assessment and full civil and structural design services.
