Paul has extensive forensic accounting experience in litigation support services heard at the High Court and at international arbitration (ICC, LCIA, ICSID). He has also provided expert witness testimony at the High Court and at international arbitration (ICC, LCIA).
He is a member of the Academy of Experts (MAE) and Expert Witness Institute (MEWI) and has prepared numerous expert reports for Claimants and Defendants / Respondents on a wide range of matters ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds to those in excess of £200 million.
Paul’s litigation experience started within the insurance sector, focusing on subrogation and disputed claims for loss of profit, increased costs of working and stock & contents matters in relation to first party and third-party liability claims. Paul’s insurance experience includes a number of sectors including property damage, product liability and recall, cyber, fidelity, construction and energy. He has handled matters across a range of industries including automotive, chemicals, biofuels, power generation, publishing, hotels, luxury goods, pulp and paper, glass manufacture and metals
While insurance-related instructions remain a core part of his practise, Paul has been instructed on a number of commercial and investor-state disputes at international arbitration heard at the ICC, LCIA and ICSID.
Paul has conducted seminars and training sessions in a number of countries on various technical forensic accounting topics. He is a competent French-speaker and oversees the firms growing forensic accounting practice in France.
