I am a consultant clinical psychologist specialising in neuropsychology. I have undertaken medico-legal work for over 26 years in both criminal and civil proceedings (25% Claimant, 75% Defendant, 5% Joint). I have reported in cases of acquired brain injury (all causes), functional neurological disorder, dissociative disorder, neurodevelopmental disorder, dementia, fitness to plead, criminal culpability, and mental capacity.
I have been instructed in employment tribunals, professional disciplinary proceedings, and professional negligence cases. I have given evidence in civil and criminal courts including high profile trials. I am jointly responsible for adult neuropsychology services at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS neurosciences unit.
