Mr David Mitchell

David is an experienced valuation specialist, with more than 14 years’ of involvement in the valuations of companies,
shares, intellectual property and financial instruments. David is currently the National Head of the Valuations team in the
UK at BDO LLP.

David works in a variety of industries, jurisdictions, and forums, including the UK courts and international arbitrations,
with particular expertise in valuations and the quantification of damages.

David has been appointed as expert on over 30 occasions, both in respect of valuation and the quantum of damages or
loss of profits arising from breach of warranty or contract claims, post acquisition and cross border disputes and the
infringement of intellectual property rights. These include litigation in the UK, DIFC, Canadian, Jersey and Cayman
courts, and he has given oral testimony in the UK courts, the Dubai International Financial Centre Court and to arbitral
tribunals in a number of jurisdictions.
