Dr Emma Reynolds is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist specialising in the assessment and rehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury and neurological disorders. She has 24 years of experience working within the NHS, including over 10 years at Consultant level. During her NHS career, Dr Reynolds worked extensively with individuals with a range of neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, brain tumour, neurological infection, stroke and neurodegenerative disorders. She also held senior clinical and service development responsibilities. She now works primarily in independent practice, while continuing to provide supervision and consultation to NHS neuropsychology services.
In her private practice, she is the Clinical Director of the Neuro Psychology Clinic. The clinic provides specialist neuropsychological assessment and medico-legal services.
She provides medico-legal reports to solicitors’ firms and agencies and receives instructions from both claimants (55%) and defendants (45%). She undertakes approximately 90 medico-legal reports per year and regularly works on personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Consulting Rooms
Dr Reynolds offers medico-legal assessments in London and at selected locations across the UK. Assessments can be arranged at alternative clinic locations by agreement, depending on the requirements of the case. Domiciliary assessments can also be arranged when clinically appropriate.
Dr Reynolds completed her undergraduate psychology degree at University College London and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Glasgow, graduating with Distinction, before obtaining the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology, leading to her inclusion on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists, maintained by the British Psychological Society.
Dr Reynolds is an examiner and supervisor for the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology. She also works as an examiner for, and contributes to teaching on, the neuropsychology training programme at Canterbury Christ Church University.
Dr Reynolds has completed the Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate. This involved demonstrating core competencies in medico-legal report writing, courtroom skills and cross-examination.
She regularly undertakes continuing professional development relevant to her clinical and expert witness practice.
