Dr Paul Courtney

Paul Courtney has worked since 1991 as a consultant adult psychiatrist for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and its predecessors. He is also a clinical assessor for the National Clinical Assessment Service, a second opinion approved doctor (CQC) and a member of The Parole Board of England and Wales.

Dr Courtney has over 24 years experience in writing reports. On average 100 instructions a year, with both claimant and defendant work undertaken. Approved by the Law Society. Experienced in personal injury, criminal, family, occupational, mental health tribunal, coroner, and medical negligence report writing. Dr Courtney has attended magistrates, county, crown and high court on numerous occasions to give expert evidence.
