Dr Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in medicolegal report writing and psychological consequences of personal injury, including PTSD. He produces approximately 100 reports annually.
He has a dual CCST in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry, subspecialty Liaison Psychiatry training, and expertise in anxiety, depressive disorders, psychosis and dementia. He has a special interest in traumatic stress and PTSD, runs an NHS clinic for the Cardiff Traumatic Stress Service, and was a Consultant for the Veterans Mental Health Service. He has co-authored the Cochrane Study of Psychological Treatments in PTSD. He is a Medical Member for the Mental Health Review Tribunal in Wales.
He assesses claimants in Wales (Cardiff), South West (Bristol, Exeter), South (Reading) and South East (London) England. He will undertake home assessments.
