Anthony D Joyce is the Principal of Michael D Joyce Associates LLP, an independent consultancy based in the north of England.
With over 30 years of postgraduate experience he has specialised in geoenvironmental and geotechnical matters in particular contaminated land investigation, assessment and remediation, ground and groundwater investigation, foundation design, slope and retaining wall stability assessment, earthworks and coal mining risk assessments.
He is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Geologist and Chartered Environmentalist. He has acted as an expert witness on a range of related issues including foundation and slope failures, mining and subsidence, groundwater and the liability in respect of pollution and contaminated land.
Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Fellow of the Geological Society, Specialist in Land Condition.
