Dr Michael Whelan

Dr Michael Whelan is a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry based in Harrow, Middlesex. Where he has been Consultant Lead for ECT since 2008. He has expertise in General Adult Psychiatry, including; Forensic Psychiatry, Substance Misuse, Psychiatric Intensive Care, Learning Disabilities and Old Age Psychiatry. Dr Whelan is also a local tutor at Northwick Park Hospital. He is currently working in the Acute (inpatient) and Community Recovery Service Lines. He is approved under Section 17 of the Mental Health Act. Dr Whelan has extensive Medico-Legal experience including experience of report preparation for Civil and Criminal matters, he also has experience of Court attendance.
