Mr Tarek El-Fakhri

I finished my Orthopaedic training in 1980 and joined the Institute of Orthopaedics at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry and my training included a rotation in Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Stoke on Trent. Since then I have been a practising Orthopaedic Surgeon. I am a practising Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, covering for General Orthopaedic and Trauma. My special interest is low back pain surgery as well as adult foot and ankle surgery. My recent practice was at the North Staffordshire Hospital until I was promoted to a Consultant post at the Staffordshire General Hospital which commenced in November 1995. I have been practising medico-legal work since 1990. I have attended Court on numerous occasions as an expert witness, and I have attended several courses related to personal injury. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I am also a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association.
