Specialist assessment in risk of offending behaviours (e.g. violent, sexual, general offending), cognitive ability (IQ and memory), psychological injury, mental disorder, competence, fitness to plead and suggestibility assessments. Assessment specialist with children, adolescents and adults around offending behaviours, and mental disorders.
Experienced in work within prisons, parole boards, secure hospitals, courts (Magistrates and Crown and civil courts), mental health and immigration tribunals, children’s residential care. Maintains active involvement in clinical practice; assessment and interventions/therapy including CBT and EMDR among other models.
Maintains active involvement in research and teaching. Will travel beyond area to assess clients. Report preparation normally completed within 2 weeks after assessment interview. Over 15 years of experience in psychological assessments.
