I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and was an NHS Consultant at St James's University Hospital Leeds and Hon Senior Lecturer in the University of Leeds for 25 years and private practice until 2020. My interests are general ophthalmic medicine and surgery with special interests in cataract surgery, intraocular lenses, refractive lens exchange, trauma and medical negligence.
I have been preparing reports supported by Literature references in medical negligence and personal injury cases for over 25 years. Between 1992 and 2021 I advised in 75% cases for Claimants' solicitors, 23% for Defendants' solicitors and 2% as Single Joint Expert.
I prepare most reports within 2-3 weeks and I have a rapid response facility for cases with very tight time constraints.
