Special Interests and Legal Experience:
I qualified 40 years or so ago from a wide general and holistic base and am still in active practice. I have over 38 years of paediatric experience and 33 years of dedicated tertiary paediatric endocrine experience, publishing over 40 original articles and an MD thesis in my field.

I am recognised (inter)nationally as the endocrine expert to paediatric neurooncology and endocrine oncology and have led a successful 8 year initiative to launch in 2021, national collaborative society management guidelines for rare paediatric endocrine and pituitary tumours , commissioned by the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) and the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology (BSPED) and endorsed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Between 1999 and 2019 I pioneered and led the first UK ‘niche’ service for neuroendocrine surveillance and neurorehabilitation of childhood cancer and brain tumour survivors across the largest National Children's Cancer Multidisciplinary service at University College and Great Ormond Street Hospitals London. This was recognised as a beacon service by NICE childhood cancer guidance in 2005. In 2020 I founded and chair a national charity Success –Life After Cure, www.successcharity.org.uk to advocate for better support of the wider neuroendocrine needs of paediatric neuroncology survivors.

I have provided over 100 expert reports in my field, but never yet needed to attend court.
