Dr Slater is a practising orthopaedic consultant at Alpine Orthosport, specialising in the hand, foot and ankle. He is an accredited evaluator of permanent impairment under NSW WorkCover Guides and the American Medical Association Guides (5th Edition). Dr Slater regularly attends conferences such as the Australian Foot and Ankle Society and has published several papers and clinical letters in his career. Recent examples of published articles include “Chronic Pain after an Ankle Fracture; An Arthoscopic Assessment” and “Ankle: Patient Positioning, Portal Placement and Diagnostic Arthoscopy.”
