Dr Lindsay Brown is a registered pharmacist who has taught pharmacology at The University of Queensland since 1986. This has included all areas of the discipline, especially the therapeutic uses of drugs acting on the cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous systems. He has extensive medico-legal experience, in particular in the interpretation of blood concentrations of drugs and in the explanation of likely responses, both therapeutic and adverse responses, to the administration of drugs. Examples include drugs such as ethanol (alcohol), benzodiazepines, amphetamines, morphine and anti-epileptic drugs.
