I am a practising forensic pathologist with special professional and acadamic interests in the areas of iatrogenic, perioperative and maternal deaths, as well as fatal pulmonary thromboembolism and fatal falls from heights. I am also committed to advancing the role of forensic pathology in medical audit. To date, I have over 45 publications on these subjects.
Read medicine at the National University of Singapore; subsequently completed post-graduate specialist training in forensic pathology, including an attachment to the London Hospital Medical College in London, U.K. Obtained DMJ(Path) and MRCPath in 1992. Fully registered with the GMC and registered as a specialist in pathology with the Singapore Medical Council.
