Julie Armour is an Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental consultant who has been working in this field over the past 20 years. Experience has stemmed from an initial Masters degree in biomechanics and physiology. This progressed to an academic career in anatomy and biomechanics primarily in rehabilitation and occupational health, lecturing at both Australian and British Universities. This was followed by a range of experience in heavy industry such as mining, oil and gas, sewage & chemical, transport (aviation & maritime) to financial, hospitality & health industries. Julie has since worked in a variety of capacities for both union and government organisations as well as international consulting firms.
