Mr Anthony Mander is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, a position he has held since 1983. He is based in both Oxford & the North West but undertakes instructions nationwide.

He has undertaken numerous national reviews and enquiries including:
Investigation into Maternity Services at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals 2004.
Secretary of State "Independent Inquiry into the Wyre Forest Birthing Centre" under Section 2 of the NHS Act of 1977 - published November 2004.
Royal Berkshire Ambulance Trust – 2002, Wrexham Hospitals NHS Trust – 2003, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - 2003, Reviewer for the Commission for Health Improvement until April 2004, Expert Advisor Healthcare Commission - until 2009.

Mr Mander has acted as as expert witness for over 20 years. He has attended and lectured at Clinical Risk Seminars for ENTER (Endowment for Training and Education in Reproduction) and also attended Expert Witness skills masterclass ‘How to avoid pitfalls’ hosted by Royal Society Medicine & BPP school of Health, Nov 2014.

He has recently conducted NHS investigations commissioned by medical directors of NHS hospital foundation trusts into serious incidents both clinical and personal.

I am actively involved in clinical practice and Teaching and have completed GMC revalidation requirements (till 2025) and annual appraisals.

Numerous all day Medicolegal courses and expert witness training days  - Manchester  and Oxford.

I have acted as an expert opinion for the GMC 

He is a trained mediator at the London School of Mediation 2013.
Expert advisor to the Women’s Health Concern charity.
Sits on the editorial board for 'Nutrition and Health' SAGE publications.
