Medico-legal & Court Experience: I prepare on average 600 reports per annum on injury and medical negligence cases; the distribution being approximately 2/3 Claimant and 1/3 Defence cases. I average 6 court appearances per annum, with my evidence being accepted in 90% over the past year where I have been called to trial.

I have a database with settlement values, but this is not quoted, as the individual cases vary, although I would say that most cases are in five to six figure awards. My practice is beginning to show a bias more towards 50/50 defence to plaintiff work and I act as a Reviewer of quality of Reports for several large Insurance Companies.

I have lectured to APIL and the Association of Local Authorities and am involved in training in house for several legal practices. I have presented information to the Civil Justice Commission on proposals for reform of fixed costs in Civil Cases. 

London & Manchester incorporates most of my practice, however I do undertake work nationwide including Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

I specialise in missed Cauda Equina Negligence cases having reported on over 30 cases in 2022 with my opinion accepted in all the case where I have been called to give evidence.
