The final speaker line-up for this year's Expert Witness Conference, taking place on Friday 7 November 2025.
There is a fantastic schedule with high-profile speakers including: Mark McDonald, counsel for Lucy Letby, Jason Beer KC, counsel to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry and judicial input from Mr Justice Waksman, all of whom will be addressing key issues that affect all experts.
In addition, we have four parallel sessions which are tailored to the needs of experts in particular areas; medico-legal, commercial, family and criminal law. You can select the best option for you.

2025 conference speakers:
Mark McDonald, defence barrister representing Lucy Letby
Jason Beer KC, counsel to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry
Mr Justice Waksman, judge in charge of the Technology and Construction Court
Gunjan Sharma, partner in Volterra Fietta and a New York-qualified attorney against Patrick Heneghan, commercial barrister and head of commercial at 3PB. The debate will be centred around the differences in how expert witnesses are involved in trials and arbitrations in the US and UK
Nick Deal, barrister and lead expert witness trainer for Bond Solon, delivering the Annual Legal Update for Experts
James McCreath, barrister at Wilberforce Chambers, will discuss the importance of double checking all aspects of your expert report and the consequences of not doing so
Dr Jock Mackenzie, medical doctor and solicitor, William Latimer-Sayer, KC and Holly King, chartered physiotherapist, will jointly run the medico-legal parallel session
Kirsty Brimelow KC, vice chair of the Bar Council, will lead the criminal parallel session
Lois Langton, head of family law and partner, and Katherine Res Pritchard, family law partner, both of Howard Kennedy, will jointly run the family parallel session
Vlad Meerovich and Sarah Gabriel, partners at Peters & Peters, will jointly run the commercial parallel session
Attending the conference is an excellent opportunity to keep up-to-date with all matters expert witness related, allows you to accrue 6 CPD hours and network with the UK’s largest gathering of expert witnesses (over 730 attended last year).
The conference will be a hybrid event. Experts can attend in-person, at the Church House Conference Centre in Westminster, or access the talks remotely.
