At Inspire MediLaw we firmly believe in the importance of ‘doing’ to learn, rather than just listening, watching or reading.
The medicolegal expert has a crucial role in the investigation and defence of clinical negligence and personal injury claims. Lawyers rely on your clinical experience and expertise, but the Court processes require you to present your opinion in specific ways and to play a very particular role in the litigation process.

Our online medicolegal expert witness training offers insight, support and practical exercises to help you get to grips with how you should discharge your duty to the Court. We talk about the legal tests, the litigation process, how to work with lawyers and other experts and the Court during a case.

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding training to enable experts to achieve excellence in their work.  You may wish to work through all four modules in chronological order, or sit one or more as standalone training exercises.

We recommend starting with the Report Writing module as it provides a full introduction to the case study which forms the basis for the tasks in the subsequent courses too - Conference with Counsel, participating in a Meeting of Experts and, crucially, giving evidence in Court.

Our training is accredited by the RCS (Eng) for CPD.  On completion of each module, your CPD certificate will be sent by email.  On completion of all four modules you will be eligible to apply for our Expert Witness Accreditation.

You can find out more about our Expert Witness Accreditation programme here.

The Training Faculty for our online courses are our very experienced and distinguished Expert Witness Training team:

Mr Paul Sankey, Medical Negligence Lawyer, Enable Law
