Happy Friday the 13th to you all! You’ll all be delighted to know that it is the only one of the year. And those shortlisted for the Manchester Legal Awards will probably be relieved Judging Day was last week and not today.
Apologies if you are receiving this email for the second time. We had a Friday 13th glitch with our mailing system.
In case you want to improve your luck (I obviously do!) you can check out The Life Scientific, where Professor of Psychology Richard Wiseman shares some valuable intel on why some people are luckier than others.
He suggests you can learn to be more lucky by:
1. Being more relaxed
2. Being open to opportunities and making the most of them
3. Being optimistic
4. Using counter-factual thinking
5. Being resilient
6. Using your intuition
You can read more about it here.
Meetings and Events for next week:

Employment Law Forum - 17 June
Corporate & Commercial Law Forum - 18 June
