Christopher Shawcross joined the property profession in 1979. He began as an auctioneer’s clerk in agricultural Berkshire and quickly moved into Valuations and Estate Management with the Grosvenor Estate, London. By the mid nineties Christopher was heading the team at Neal House Management (now part of CIS) managing an annual income of over £20m for the conglomerate there. By 2001 he'd set up his own Chartered Surveyors, Shawcross & Co, capitalising on local knowledge of a then buoyant Thames Valley property market.
He joined Anderson Wilde and Harris in 2011 with extensive experience in valuations and all aspects of general practice surveying. Expert Witness for court proceedings and valuation tribunals. Mr Shawcross is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
