Professor Mark P Callaway

I am a Consultant Radiologist based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. I am the Lead Cancer radiologist for the Trust and a visiting Professor at the University of the West of England.

I was the deputy Medical Director at the Bristol Royal Infirmary until November 2021.

I am experienced in both interventional and non-interventional radiology and my fields of expertise include the chest and abdomen in particular gastro, intestinal and liver imaging. I have experience in all imaging modalities including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.

I was a medical director for the professional standards board at the Royal College of Radiologists.

I have authored several sets of national guidelines for the Royal College of Radiologists.

I have published widely and have delivered over 50 invited lectures to both National and International meetings.

I have provided expert reports for the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland as well as expert reports for the General Medical Council.
